NABIP’s Strategic Plan - Vision2030

Vision 2030: Racing Ahead Toward Our Shared Future

At NABIP, we know that a strong vision isn't just about where we want to go—it's about how we bring everyone along for the ride.


Vision2030 is our bold, member-driven initiative to shape the future of our association and the health benefits industry. It's about designing with intention, listening with empathy, and building a roadmap that positions NABIP as the preeminent voice in healthcare policy, professional development, and member engagement.

Why Vision 2030?

The world of healthcare, insurance, compliance, and benefits is evolving rapidly. From artificial intelligence and mental health parity to the changing needs of employers and consumers—we're in a pivotal moment. Vision2030 ensures we don’t just react to change. We lead it.

Our Approach

Vision 2030 is built on four foundational pillars:

  1. Member Experience – Enhancing how members connect, learn, grow, and lead within our organization.
  2. Financial Vitality – Investing in what matters most, ensuring long-term sustainability and innovative growth strategies.
  3. Operational Excellence – Streamlining how we deliver value and support through data-driven decision making and accountable leadership.
  4. Brand Recognition & Advocacy – Raising the visibility of our profession, amplifying our voice on Capitol Hill, and strengthening public trust in the agent and advisor role.

How are we progressing?

 

  • Phase 1: Strategic Planning with the Board (completed May 2025)
  • Phase 2: Deep-Dive Council and Committee Collaboration (Completed June 2025)
  • Phase 3: Staff Visioning Session – Investing time and energy into the people who drive our operations every day. (In Progress)
  • Phase 4 (August 2025): Member, Chapter Leader & Past President Surveys. We’re listening—your insight will shape the next generation of NABIP.
